He Was Associated With Various Newspaper Like The Times, London, The New York Times, and The Statesman, Calcutta. He Founded in Dhaka and Edited for Seven Years the Weekly Record Which Earned a Name for Itself. After the Liberation of Bangladesh, He Edited The Liberation of Bangladesh, He Edited The Dhaka Daily, Morning News, For Sometime. He also taught Journalism at the University of Dhaka . HE Was Director-General and Later, Chairman of the Press Institute of Bangladesh. In 1979 he was Awarded the Ekushe Padak for his Contribution to Journalism.
