7 Days Happy Return

This memoir encapsulates the essence of the life of Professor Mirza Nurul Huda over seven decades. His formative years and student life were spent in British India. Pakistan saw Professor Huda in his prime. Ignoring threats from the highest quarters of Pakistan’s Central Government, Professor Huda fought valiantly for Bangladesh’s (then East Pakistan) economic rights and was one of the main proponents of the “Two Economies” theory for Pakistan’s two disparate wings. During the Bangladeshi period of his life, Professor M. N. Huda served his homeland over a period of six and a half years, as an Advisor to the government, the Minister of Finance and Planning, and the Vice President of Bangladesh.
